Website Purchases Exchange Policy

At Clara Clothing, we strive to create a shopping experience that is both enjoyable and hassle-free. If you ever need to make an exchange, we’ve made the process convenient for you in just three easy steps!

Step 1: Contact Our Customer Care Team

Step 2: Exchange Request Approval


Once your exchange request is approved by our Customer Care Team, we will place an exchange order on your behalf. The courier will bring the new item and collect the item being exchanged directly from your doorstep. After reviewing the returned item for quality and hygiene, we’ll inform you if your exchange has been approved.

Step 3: Receive Your New Item
Once the exchange is approved, our courier will deliver the new item to your doorstep. You’ll hand over the previous package to the same courier upon receiving the new one.

Exchange Policy Details

  • Exchanges are strictly for sizes only.
  • Exchanges must be made within 7 days after the delivery is completed.
  • Items must be new, unused, and with all Clara Clothing brand/price tags attached. Items that are damaged, unhygienic, soiled, or altered will not be accepted.
  • Return courier charge is LKR 700 (LKR 350 for the return package, LKR 350 for the new package).
  • The purchased item(s) are the customer’s responsibility until they reach Clara Clothing for inspection. Please ensure that the items are properly packed and sealed to prevent damage during transit.
  • Exchanges are subject to stock availability. If approved, the exchange is free of charge (aside from the courier charges).
  • No cash refunds or Store Credit Notes are issued for exchanges.

Special Collection and Bodysuits

 

  • Dresses from the “Special Collection” can only be exchanged for a different size, not for a different style or product.
  • Bodysuits cannot be exchanged due to hygiene reasons.

Sale Items

1. All items purchased during a sale are final and cannot be returned or refunded.

2. Discounts offered during sales are non-reversible and do not qualify for exchange or credit.

3. We reserve the right to deny any return or refund request for products bought under sale or promotional pricing.

4. Please ensure to review all sale purchases thoroughly before completing your order.

Damaged or Defected Items

 

  • If you receive a defective product, request an exchange or return within 3 days of delivery.
  • A Rs. 300 courier allowance will be covered for the return and redelivery of defective items. Any amount exceeding this allowance will be charged to the customer.
  • Customers can request either a full refund or a replacement of the defective item. Refunds will be processed via bank transfer.
  • All decisions regarding damaged or defective items are at the discretion of Clara Clothing management and are non-negotiable.

Store Purchases and Common Rules

 

  • In-store purchases cannot be exchanged online.
  • Online purchases may be exchanged at the physical store, but you must email the details beforehand.
